Singapore food blog

 Killiney @ International Plaza
Being a loyal customer for one year now I have seen change of staff two times already. I must say I really miss the first two guys. They were so much more efficient than the staff they have now. The current staff doesn’t bother to help each other and they do not remember their customer’s usual orders. Too bad because they have good coffee but it makes me think about going to another coffeeshop that does. I don’t think I’m the only one who thinks this.

Taste Down Under IX - Baker D. Chirico, Crossley Street, Melbourne
If Willy Wonka has his amazing chocolate factory, then Baker Daniel Chirico has his very own psychedelic wonderland bakery.

for those who don’t know, Baker D. Chirico (that’s also happens to be the name of the bakery) brings a chunk of his talent by docking quirky cosmic wallpaper all over his tiny shop located in Crossley Street, and along with his artisanal bread and delectable sweet treats, finds its way into the Melbourne’s finest restaurants

 Love Singapore Food
132 Mini Steamboat

Of the many mini steamboats and hotpots that I have tried and blogged about in Singapore, the one I like most is 132 Mini Steamboat at Old Airport Road Food Centre, simply because of its irresistable herbal soup.

132 comes with a variety of mini steamboat sets ranging from chicken to pork, mutton, beef, prawn and fish, priced at only $5 inclusive of rice. Choose to enjoy your steamboat with one of the following soup bases: normal, spicy, tom yam or herbal.

This is a bento blog by Shoppingmum, who is very addicted to packing food for her two wonderful kids.
My boy’s chin still hurts, so he told me to fix him something in smaller bites so that he won’t have to open his mouth wide. LOL! On top of that, my gal wanted some ABC in her bento, thus I packed them mini alphabet cheese and heart sandwiches bentos today.
The sandwiches were prepared last night, then wrapped and refrigerated in container for today’s bentos. All I needed to do was cutting the cheese and decorated them in the morning.

 Timeless Facade
Ubin First Stop Restaurant
Changi Village is probably one of the last remaining rustic, laid back places in Singapore and from the gateway to Pulau Ubin. So it is not surprising that many seafood places have sprouted up at this seaside enclave over the years, one of which is Ubin First Stop Restaurant where we opted to have lunch at one sunny weekday afternoon.
